Let´s Play Smiths!

InDifferentLight enjoyed Schmiede – Playground for artists, a residency and a little fest for 300 artists. We got new wonderful artists joining the project for the duration of Schmiede, and produced a little site-specific performance in a salt pool.

Meet the team of InDifferentLight Scmiede 2015:

Darren Kirwan

Darren is a genious of visual effects programming, and that´s all the introduction this gorgeous Irish man requires.

…Instead, We will carry on discussing whether “Young Sean Connery” or “Cute puppydog” fits better.

Stefan Baron von Firnwald is a handsome musician from Germany, who´s composition we got an honour to use in InDifferentLight. Looks like our soundtrack has changed for good…

Philomena Höltkemeier is an award-winning story consult and a CEO of Philomena Höltkemeier Story Consulting. She wrote a stunning description of our project after we mumbled a few hours about our visions to her. Those ideas which appeared to be more different and confused than we had thought… Before she saved us. Now everything is clear and shiny as our brandnew concept forms.

A little poem inspired by our confusion, written by Philomena Höltkemeier.

10 Days of Schmiede is hard work, as combining that 1€ beer tap and nightly arty-party with full days of work with 200 other artists can get Intense. We all loved it, but we all needed a holiday after.
