Heidi: I have to admit, that I´m paranoid enough to find these places always scary in the beginning… Andi: It´s VERY scary! Heidi: WHAT? You´re not supposed to be more scared than me! Andi: I´m also paranoid! heidi: Yes but you have to be less paranoid than I am. Andi: Okay whatever I´m less…

Podgaric Successes
From Jasenovac it was less than 100km to Podgaric Monument. The monument was located on the hill of a smallest farmer village, and due to a thunder storm upon our arrival we had to wait until evening under the hill before setting up our camp. The location was nearly perfect. An impressive statue with an…
Building towards first Performance
The week flew past and somesort of a performance was born in the end. The rain carried on in the beginning of the week and made rehearsing difficult, but that led to even more productive end of the week. We realised there wouldn´t be any fabrics available within 30km radius so the local hardware shop…
♫ Raindrops are falling …♫ everywhere..
The non-stop rain and Cerkno Jazz Festival unabled us to proceed with InDifferentLight this weekend. Rehearsing a dance solo outdoors and setting up projectors and computers was impossible, so the artistic ideas ripened in our unconscious whilst we fullfilled the duty of mingling with the locals in several jazz concerts. We also had a wonderfully educational Saturday in the mountains with a Slovenian raw food guru Dario Cortese. Dario Cortese seems to be a national celebrity chef and author of the same subject here in Slovenia. We wondered around a nearby mountain with him putting everything green and colourful in our mouths on the way. His knowledge on nature was most impressive and his humble yet energetic spirit kept everyone happy despite the rain.
Rain also revealed us a rather unfortunate detail of Lufka: She isn´t waterproof. There was a sure intention to take a raincover with us when we left, but somehow it didn´t happen in the end… Ironically all four (or five) leaking holes were above our bed. We did our best to party on in the Jazz festival until we would pass out ignoring the raindrops, but as drops transformed into streams, Andi fixed a few hanging plastig bags above the bed and stuck toilet paper in the rest of the holes. During night time we remained dry.
The lady is growing up.
So another weekend passed by to put love into our ride. And we didnt hesitate to do so. After realizing that in the modern World of today it is nearly impossible to fix anything to anywhere without proper Gaffa tape, Heidi ended up creating tight packages of the plastic, and no insulation could fly out…
